The withdrawal button in the Netherlands (herroepingsknop)
The Netherlands added the EU withdrawal function to the Civil Code in a new Article 6:230oa BW, through the act implementing the directive on distance financial services contracts. The act was adopted after the EU deadline of 19 December 2025.

- A statement where the customer gives or confirms their name, the order, and where the confirmation should be sent.
- A confirmation step labelled "herroeping bevestigen".
- An acknowledgement on a durable medium, such as email, with the content and the date and time of submission, without undue delay.
